The 48: Arlington is a bus route that will be within 1 block of the house. The 48: Arlington serves Downtown, Station Square, South Side, Arlington, Arlington Heights, Warrington Avenue, and South Hills Junction. While the 48: Arlington will serve South Hills Junction, it would be much quicker to go to Station Square and take one of the LRTs (Light Rail Train) to go to the next stop which is South Hills Junction.
Since I take buses often, and at least once a week, I have a fare card. I don’t use the bus system enough to warrant a pass, but every time I pay for bus fare, I will get a 3 hour pass. This is because of the fare card more than anything. And while PRT? will be the local bus system, I could also suppose I could take a Lyft or Uber, but I would want to stray away from such because of cost.
